Tonight on Night School it is my honor to host, J.W. Friday. A pioneer in the local dj scene, J.W. rose to prominence in the 1980s via his radio program, “Black Rock 88.” Passionate, witty, & forever committed to lifting the spirit, J.W. Friday brought soul music to Portland in a way that no one has done before or since. His continued efforts in the faith community have empowered many. And to boot, he’s an original member of the Cavaliers Unlimited! Not to be missed..
