<< 12 Steps Beyond Prog

You are being monitored.

Watched.

Observed.

No matter how you put it, it sounds creepy.

Think about this. Your cat hates you to watch her poo but your cat enjoys watching you poo.

It is not fair. But we allow it. We check the "Terms and Conditions" all the time. So.

Tonights show will be about being observed or observing.

And possibly allow some tingly Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, to this outstanding record from 1971?

Journey to the Centre of the Eye by Nektar.

This album frightened me as an 11 year old but I ultimately learned the fear was actually ASMR.

This is the original mix and will be presented in its entirety. Wiki says:

"Journey to the Centre of the Eye is the debut album from English progressive rock band Nektar that came out in 1971. Though formally divided into 13 tracks, the entire album consists of a single continuous piece of music, with some musical themes which are repeated throughout the work. Because of its narrative nature, it has been called a rock opera and/or dense concept album. The story follows an astronaut who, while on a voyage to Saturn, encounters aliens who take him to their galaxy, where he is suffused with knowledge and wisdom. It is usually interpreted as a commentary on the nuclear arms race."

Are you ready to see and accept being seen?

Tonight at midnight on XRAY.

91.1 and 107.1 Portland

99.9 Vancouver

Or XRAY.FM everywhere your cat is watching you.
