Tonight on Night School, it is my honor to host local saxophonist & jazz music educator, Kenney Polson. Throughout his career, Kenney has worked with an array of internationally recognized players (including Joe Sample, pictured in this photo). Kenney’s brand of smooth jazz is aptly depicted in his latest reissue, “Paradise.” Throughout our time together, we’ll explore the roots of smooth jazz as well as Kenney’s role as an educator and jazz music advocate via Mt. Hood Community College & Thara Memory’s American Music Program.
