It's no secret that there are plenty of roads in Portland that are in bad shape and that the backlog of infrastructure repairs is quite long. Two weeks ago Mayor Charlie Hales and Commissioner Steve Novick introduced plan that would charge homeowners hundreds of dollars--but businesses would pay thousands--to raise the funds necessary for street repair and other transportation funding. Commissioner Novick will join us tomorrow to make a case for the street fee--and will also answer your questions!
