University student and trans activist Jayce, speaking about his fight to obtain fair campus housing at Christian college George Fox University in Newberg.  Next week he'll be speaking at a Portland T event, presented by Queer Intersections Portland at the Matt Dishman Community Center, about his experience.

Carmen Merlo, director of the Portland Bureau of Emergency Management, speaking about a new partnership with short-term rental website Airbnb to provide emergency housing for displaced Portlanders in a disaster.  The partnership was announced at a White House event this week.

Brad Schmidt, city hall reporter for the Oregonian, speaking about his series this week called Broken Promises: Portland Power.  The pieces therein examine East Portland's lack of political and electoral representation in city politics.
