12 Steps Beyond Prog #160
Greetings,
So comes another evening of relative calm in this Orange flavored April. Relative calm is possibly the only thing we can wish for in these "heady" times.
Ready for another fine episode of 12 Steps Beyond Prog? Good.
Tonight we are going to hear some new music from the band Carptree. I am very excited (as I can be) about this new release. They have topped themselves again with this album Emerger. It is not quite out yet but will be soon (April 7th!) but as I alluded to this Swedish band has released another fine record of progressive symphonic music that will please fans of this beloved sub genre of the prog scene.
Tonights 12th step will feature a band that pleased the father of a good friend of mine, but not him. I am certain it will please you though. Tune in and find out who this family busting band might be...
Otherwise, if you are on board sit back, ignore the housemates, family or whoever and indulge your most discriminating guilty pleasures.
Tonight at midnight on XRAY.FM on these fine broadcast stations KXRY 91.1Mhz and 107.1Mhz Portland and in Vancouver on KXRW-LP 99.9Mhz. Stream it anywhere on XRAY.FM
What could be better? You wanted to call in "sick" anyway.
