Joe's first guest this week is Suzanne Washington, CEO of Meals on Wheels People.  Meals on Wheels People was founded in 1969 by three caring women who saw a need in the community that was not being met. They gathered in the basement of a Church in February of 1970 to serve a hot lunch to about a dozen seniors and then delivered 14 Meals on Wheels on paper plates wrapped in newspaper.  The Vision of the organization today is pretty much the same:  No senior will go hungry or experience social isolation.  More information available at www.mowp.org

On the second half of the show, Joe is pleased to welcome back Charles Humble, Partnership and Communications Specialist with Tax Aid of Washington State.  The AARP Foundation's Tax Aid offers free tax preparation assistance and we have a group of volunteers dedicated to this effort right here in Vancouver and Portland.  Now in its 50th year, Tax-Aid has helped millions of taxpayers with filing their state and Federal taxes.  And the best part is you don't have to be an AARP member and there's no age requirement to get help.  More information available at www.aarp.org/taxaide
