At the very beginning of this fund drive episode of San Remo 1985, Damian Lillard hit a game-winning, first-round-playoff-series winning, last-second buzzer-beating 37-foot DAGGER 3-point basket over Paul George, which we witnessed at that time on screen in the studio. In retrospect, I am amazed that we (Galaxy My Dear’s Jason Urick and myself) did not continue yelling for several minutes straight, and I attribute my relative composure to my strong desire to do right by XRAY and to fulfill my responsibilities as a member of this team, because you damn well better believe I wanted to run out into the street hooting and hollering. It was a special moment and, though I wish I could’ve been a little less distracted at the time, I’m honored to have shared my immediate feelings out onto the airwaves that night. GO. BLAZERS!
