Journey to the "spray paint underground"(so named because of the prevalence of spray painted cdrs and tapes used to distribute these sounds). The underbelly or Id of the postpunk revival of the oughts. Bands inspired by no wave, Japanese noise, psychedelia, free jazz, Beefheart, outsider music, weird prog, and other strangeness to make bands and albums basically for each other. It's when I was in bands and setting up shows and I loved it.
