Opening of New All Inclusive Esther Short Park Playground in Vancouver

The new Esther Short Park Playground is now open. It is the first part of a city-wide initiative around building fully inclusive and accessible playgrounds across Vancouver, Washington: Project Play.  In this field piece produced by Steena Trecha you'll hear kids cheering on the opening of this new park followed by greetings from Vancouver Mayor Anne McEnerny-Oogle. 

You'll hear from Jeremy Robbins, a Vancouver City Parks Commissioner who uses a wheelchair and believes in the power of play and accessibility.

You'll also hear from two different wheel chair-using adults and a city employee parent who has brought their kids to the opening of the park to play.
