Dan Spencer - Linfield University Baseball Coach, Former Oregon State Associate Head Coach (Part 2)

In the second part of our conversation with Spencer, he goes a little deeper on the nuances of coaching high-level baseball in 2024 and continuing to grow the game in Oregon and Washington.

Dan Spencer took over the storied Linfield University baseball program in 2020. A native of Vancouver, Washington, Spencer has developed a perspective on the growth of the sport in the region that few others can claim. 

A former Division I player himself at Texas Tech University, Spencer was the associate head coach at Oregon State University from 1997 to 2007. In that period, Spencer helped engineer some of the best teams college baseball has seen to-date, including the Beavers' back-to-back national titles in 2006 and 2007.
