<< Spotlight For Justice

July is National Bereaved Parents Awareness Month. It’s a time dedicated to recognizing and supporting parents who have lost a child. It's an opportunity to raise visibility, acknowledge their pain, provide support, and strengthen the community for those who have experienced such a deep loss.

Our guests this month include Jim Thomas of Battle Ground who lost two children from murder thirty years apart.  Jim talks with us about Mindi (who was 12 when she was abducted, raped, and murdered in Gresham, Oregon) and Timothy (who was 39 when he was killed by a neighbor while working on his car in Battle Ground, WA).  Then we speak with Jane Oh, who lost her baby boy eight years ago to SIDS.  Both Jim and Jane speak about their new Peer Grief Group in Southwest Washington.
