Episode 202: You get it
From now until the end of January you can support XRAY FM with your face. That’s right, when you get lunch, we get a kick-back.
Lardo sandwiches, located at SE 12th and Hawthorne has developed the “citizen which”, a sandwich designed by a member of the community, with a portion of the proceeds going to benefit a local non profit.
This month that’s us!
Designed by citizen Mark Cockcroft, the sandwich HUMPTY DUMPTY SAT ON THE GREAT WALL, features a breaded pork and shrimp dumpling patty, Napa cabbage slaw, Szechuan pickled cukes and chili crisp mayo.
Mark chose us because he used to work in radio and knows the power that XRAY has to connect people through music, culture and creativity. And that the best way to do that is by eating a sandwich.
You can get it now through the end of the month at Lardo. Thanks Mark and thanks Lardo for supporting community radio.
