Today I would to play a few bands that have been labeled as “One Hit Wonders”...bands that were lucky enough to have recorded a song that was popular on the radio…but unlucky in that subsequent songs failed to do the same…Capturing lightning in a bottle comes close to describing having a hit record, there is no science to it, but you know one when you hear one…sadly it’s no so easy to compose one…but in my experience, listening to albums, a lot of these bands had more to offer than “one hit”, and there are usually great songs on their albums, and I am going to concentrate on those album cuts today…
