Jessica Elkan is the Executive Director of the James Beard Public Market, leading the effort to build a seven-day-a-week public market that celebrates Oregon’s agricultural bounty and culinary excellence. Raised in Oregon’s Willamette Valley and growing up in her family’s woodworking business, she developed a deep appreciation for local artisans, makers, and public markets.
