12 Steps Beyond Prog #236
Ok, I have to come clean.
This show is not of my own creation.
It was a team effort.
Compromises were made.
Tiny hands were discarded in favor of large show molding hands.
Jethro Tull does not get a lot of love or respect due to the rotation habits of corporate radio.
I also tended to ignore much of the bands recorded output. Typically the early stuff that corporate radio pushed and pushed upon me.
I did see them two or three times live. I have the obligatory copy of Thick as a Brick and many of the 80's albums. (My favorite period.) But I have been unfair to our cod piece wearing flute wielding hero Ian Anderson and I intend to make that up on tonights special edition of 12 Steps. A few silver points:
1st: We will be joined by Tull fan Daniel Crommie. ( A prog flute playing local musician of some reputation.)
2nd: He has tales that will astound you.
3rd: Rare tracks selected mostly with intention by DC himself. (Our staff of prog programmers took the week off.)
4th: We will end on time.
Tonight at Midnight ON:

KXRW 99.9. Vancouver
