Episode 28: African Fuzzbusters
We have moved on in to 2020, listeners. After several weeks of holiday music programming, we are back to business as usual at Tropicology. Today we are going to have a bit of a palette cleanser after that rich holiday meal… this week will be funky sounds from Africa, some easy music for listening pleasure that does not require too much deep thought. As we return our focus to our daily routines in the new year, this show invites you to sit back and just enjoy some funky grooves. Sometimes African funk sets on Tropicology may trend a little latin, or disco, or psychedelic… today’s set trends toward the fuzzy; the title of today’s episode is African Fuzzbusters. These tracks have a bit of a garage production vibe, but the rough edges in this playlist just add to the charm.
