Today's set is the victory lap of a marathon runner. The XRAY FM Spring Fund Drive has been a marathon for our hardworking volunteers, and today they can finally give in fully to exhaustion. But that victory buzz might take you around the track today one more time to wave at the fans. For music that lives in that balance between buzz and exhaustion, I turn today to some of the hottest countries featured on the show; in these places it’s not the heat, it’s the humidity. Just walking across the street can produce a healthy sweat, so musicians have learned not to fill their concerts with fast music... in the hottest weather, your audience needs to dance slowly. Today XRAY nation you can bask in the glow of your accomplishment… the energy on this show will not exceed a slow simmer. You stay in the comfy chair and I will keep your toes tapping.

The twist in today’s show is tracks from the Caribbean and Africa that all sounds alike… primary focus today on Haiti on our side, and Senegal and Angola over there. See if you can tell which songs are from which side of that big Atlantic bathtub.   Listeners thank you once again from your XRAY FM family.
