XRAY – Nocturnal Emission #95 – Sick Sad World - 06/02/2020
In this episode, we shed a light on Sick Sad World's Anti-Covid Covers Volume 1. During the first month of lockdown, about 40 French indie artists/bands joined forces to cover songs from the 90-2000s (mostly dancy tunes from your favorite 90s/2k pop-star). It as all recorded in 3 weeks, on their laptops or smartphones. All the money is donated to the Secours Populaire, which takes care of poor or homeless people. Indeed, during these times of global pandemy and social distanciation, their task is even harder.
