Episode 95: Club Tropicology

Today’s episode is something unusual, listeners. I am going off the beaten path today… I suppose I am motivated in part by the fact that myself and many friends are now fully vaccinated and ready to resume activities like night clubs and house parties. If you are fully vaccinated, it is time to get back out there into the world.  I am also motivated by the bizarre streak of summer like weather we have been experiencing over the past couple months here in the Portland area… I’ve been here since 1995, and I can’t remember any year with less rain and cold during April and May. So, you know, on the one hand you have this rush back to socializing after a pandemic like we saw in the roaring 20s… on the other hand, Prince has got a lion in his pocket that’s ready to roar… you can put 2 and 2 together here people. All of this adds up to a powerful incentive to get out on a dance floor… so today that is the theme of my show, I am playing international music for nightclub dancing.
