Episode 128: Club Tropicology

On today’s episode I am going to take you back to the nightclub with more great dance music from the tropics. No roots on today’s show, in fact nothing older than the disco era… this is all modern music with a very clubby vibe. We’ll cover the entire Tropicology map today; there will be music from Africa, Brazil, Cuba, the French West Indies, the Middle East, and Colombia via Spain. These clubby sounds remind me that I used to DJ house and techno sounds many years ago, but I grew distant from that musical world as I got involved with international music. Lately I have been feeling more and more favorably disposed toward modern dance music… perhaps the COVID isolation is making me sentimental for late night dance parties.
