<< Find The Others

On today's show I spoke with Tracy Tsefalas about the history of perfume. Tracy Tsefalas is the owner of Fumerie Parfumerie—a lovely shop in south east Portland. Tracy has decades of perfume knowledge, and is a terrific and insightful guide to the world of perfumes, she uses her knowledge of perfumes to help people navigate and select the perfect scent.

Our second guest on the show is Michelle Dowd,  with her new memoir Forager: Field Notes on Surviving a Family Cult. Michelle Michelle Dowd is a journalism professor and contributor to The New York Times, The Los Angeles Book Review, The Alpinist, Catapult, and other national publications. Michelle’s first book, Forager: Field Notes on Surviving a Family Cult, a memoir forthcoming with Algonquin Press, showcases her life growing up on an isolated mountain in California as part of an apocalyptic cult.
