<< Everyone is Interesting
Everyone is Interesting is a weekly talk-format show where
Portlanders share, in 5 minutes or less, whatever natural or unnatural
thing has captured their curiosity.
On today’s show - our 6-month anniversary show - we’re doing a clip show. I like clip shows people, I’m not afraid to admit it. We’ll revisit short segments from the last six months, including silly words, crabby fossils, frozen humans, labor solidarity and more. I’ve cut out just the 5-minute reports, so we can fit as many interesting ideas into the hour as possible. I’ll intro each one so you have the context you need but then we’ll jump straight into the guests telling us their curious or interesting things.
There’s another reason today’s show is momentous, it’s not just the 6-month anniversary, it’s also, the final show. Today’s episode concludes the joyful experiment that asked the question is everyone is interesting? The empirical answer is yes. When we’re curious everyone is interesting. I got a lab coat, wrote a thesis on the white board, conducted rigorous scientific experiments and concluded without a doubt that ya’ll are great, simply the best, and that sharing our curiosity and enthusiasm with others is unequivocally capital G Good.
Thank you for witnessing, or participating, or stopping by however briefly. Thanks for being here and supporting this show.
