Today on Mating Calls, we have our very first guest co-host in honor of International Women's Day! Our good friend Rose Lewis joined us in the home studio last week for a pre-recorded showcase of punk and punk-esque ladies who make us love music 😍
Rose absolutely blew us away with her extensive musical knowledge, bringing obscure tracks from Wales, Germany, Mexico, Switzerland, and throughout the US--all made by femme-fronted bands. This set is fit for a Monday evening, but the conversation is fit for a revolution as we discuss the socialist history of IWD and the need for protection against gender-based discrimination, violence, and oppression.
