Not everyone gets a tribute from the Two Shakes, but Shawn Swagerty sure does! Tonight on Mating Calls (and for the entirety of your Monday evening lineup), our neighbors are getting together in the XRAY studios to send Swag off in style. Big City Radio Show has been such a fixture of XRAY FM for the past ten years, and it's hard to believe he won't be spinning punk, new wave, and no wave classics in Portland any longer!
We'll be honoring Shawn's incredible impact at our station by playing songs he introduced us to and songs we know he loves. At 5, our neighbors will join us in bringing you some BCRS classics, from John Cale to Tubeway Army to David Bowie to Brian Eno and so many others!
