M2S and The Jerk are back together in the studio to continue our celebration of Black artists all month long, and today we bring you another very special Book Club episode. Following our reading of (and weeping over) Toni Morrison's A Mercy, we want to resist the myth of whiteness and the ignorant, anti-woke barrage it's bestowed on our country's art, education, and collective understanding of history.

Honoring the Black writers and musicians who radicalized us, we offer up two hours of hip hop, jazz, reggae, and soul alongside clips from Toni and other Book Club favorites as we explore the ramifications of our nation's deeply embedded racism.
