Today's show pays tribute to the blues scholar Samuel Charters, who died this week. Featuring musicians that Charters recorded, produced, and championed throughout his long and fruitful career.

The show also features a tribute to rock n' roll gospel pioneer Sister Rosetta Tharpe, who would be 100 years old today.
