On the front page of Pandora's website there's a statement that says "It's a new kind of radio - stations that play only music you like" How can it be that Pandora knows what you like? Isn't liking music a purely personal matter? A lot of time and money is spent in the music business trying to figure out what people like. Some companies, like Pandora, use complicated algorithms, while others use human beings to curate their musical discovery processes. So who does it better?
