ORQUESTRA PACIFICO TROPICAL

Orquestra Pacifico Tropical is comprised of 11 homies who get together to share their boundless love and respect for the genre of Cumbia and what that means to them, living in the city of Portland, Oregon. Reconstructing & reimagining those gorgeous archaic jungle rhythms that span from México to Peru and to Colombia, the ensemble brings an onslaught to any stage across the nation with their own reinterpretation of this magnificent sound


PSYCHOTROPIKA

The Portland-based husband and wife duo, Psychotropika, ignites dance floors with electronic beats and mesmerizing visuals. With stylistic influence of Tropical Bass, Tribal Trap, and Psychedelic Cumbia, Psychotropika merges ancestral sounds with heavy bass lines and futuristic soundscapes. Their live performances are elevated through curated video projection, where archival footage collides with intricate patterns in hypnotic repetitions. The duo, Cris Osorio, and Rio Collier, first crossed paths in Bolivia in 2015 and have since performed in the USA, Latin America, and Asia. Their most recent release Q’Bacilon is out now on all streaming platforms.


ESPINA LETAL

Native to the Pacific NW with family descending from Sonora, Mexico, Carolina Arvizu better known as Espina Letal meaning “Lethal Thorn” is a DJ, mixed media artist, small business owner, and founder of Nunca Siempre, a local event production highlighting focus on BIPOC & Queer artists making connections up and down the west coast giving space, honor and representation for all people of Latin America, Mexico, and Chicano Cultures coming from 20 years in the punk & metal scene with curated cumbia punk DJ nights and mercados/markets to hip hop, psyche rock, lowrider culture, drag shows with perreo to curated art shows. They say a rose grown from concrete can use her thorns for more, and this young woman has been making an impact bringing many elements of not only chicano/latin culture but a true diverse collection, giving a sense of home and heart to so many BIPOC all around through a lifelong passion of music and art.
