Candi Carpenter is a 5,665 year old extraterrestrial vampire space witch AND recording artist. Even though they’ve had plenty of time to find fame and fortune, it’s still just THAT hard to be an independent artist.

In 2024, Carpenter released their Alt-Pop debut, Demonology, a full-length album produced by Carpenter, Peter Shurkin, and Alden Witt, described as a “powerfully raw listen” by Maximum Volume Music. Carpenter’s passionate, self-examining songs center around highly personal stories of growing up in the Midwest and leaving Christianity.

Carpenter has attracted collaborations with artists including Brandy Carlile, and praise from publications like Rolling Stone, calling Carpenter “a devastatingly direct singer with… an axe to grind;” while To The Point Music states, “Candi Carpenter is one of those once in a lifetime talents.”

Demonology has garnered millions of views on social media, along with being featured on Spotify’s “New Pop Picks,” “Fresh Finds Pop,” Tidal’s “Rising Pop,” Amazon Music’s “Fresh Pop,” “Acoustic Pop,” and “Breakthrough Pop” and SiriusXM Hitbound and many others.

Carpenter is currently recording and touring in Summer 2024.
