Hello Cruel World has 3 primary goals: 1) to highlight the work of singer/songwriters/solo artists and their musical evolutions from album to album, 2) to champion a stripped-down acoustic sound and 3) to present conversations and in-studio performances with the people who make the music. Hello Cruel World aims to bring you as much local talent as possible, while also paying attention to new releases from the larger world. Favorite genres include indie-folk, forest ock, and Americana.
