Reptaliens has teamed up with Dig A Pony to raise funds for XRAYfm by throwing an amazing party stacked with some of Portland's most esteemed acts including: outer-space freakaholics of soul Lola Buzzkill; garage punk wizards Psychomagic; the smooth grooves of Reptaliens; and a secret headliner you likely won't be able to see for only 5 bucks ever again. Between sets, XRAY DJ's Theo Craig and Chancie Chance will keep the dance floor full and the party moving until close. Portland Flea + Food is a gathering place for the best of Portland’s makers, food purveyors and curators of vintage to sell their wares and grow their businesses. Decor + Furniture: Rejuvenation’s back lot will play host to home wares both new and vintage. You’ll find ceramicists, re-furbishers, re-upholsterers, woodworkers, letterpress and some good old junk.
Apparel + Accessories: In the lot across 6th Ave. you will find everything you’ll need for your wardrobe & body. Show stopping vintage pieces and new handmade digs from designers in town.
Collaborators + Showcase: Inside Rejuvenation’s store you can find a collection of top local designers who have inspired collaborations on exclusive product lines with the store. There is also a guest showcase featuring artisans and workshops dedicated to progressing creative business.
Food + Drink: In Jacobsen Salt Co’s lot you will experience the best of our local food and beverage scene. Dine on a select group of rotating food trucks and pick up artisan food/drink stuffs from local producers.

XRAY DJ Dave Cantrell, host of post-punk/darkwave show Songs From Under the Floorboard, celebrates his 60th birthday by hosting a show at Black Water with four bands that have played a crucial role in the Portland post-punk scene: Vice Device, Spirit Host, LUNCH, and Shadowhouse. The all-ages event is a benefit to help pay traveling costs of out-of-state bands appearing at the 2-night XRAY-sponsored Out From The Shadows II festival happening April 1-2, 2016.

Bollywood Horror XIII Costume Dance Party with DJ Anjali and The Incredible Kid, featuring the US debut of Lil India (Vancouver, BC) and live percussion by dholi Malinder Tooray of Dholnation (Los Angeles).
The longest-running Bollywood Halloween party in the world is a Portland original, a wild dance party celebrating thirteen years of raucous costumed merriment hosted by DJ Anjali and The Incredible Kid. The centerpiece of every Bollywood Horror is the costume contest hosted by Anjali with fabulous prizes from rad local businesses for the best costumes. Featuring only the wickedest beats from the subcontinent: cower at the thundering dhols, shiver at the piercing wails of Bollywood divas. The night features specially-commissioned psychedelic Bollywood Horror visuals remixed by Micah Schmelzer Deai from Anjali and The Kid's vault of South Asian horror.

A female Indo-Canadian DJ duo from Vancouver, BC whose "Strictly for My Jatts" mix was featured in the Mad Decent blog and reached nearly 100,000 listens on soundcloud before being taken down. They have performed with artists such as Heems, Spank Rock, Chippy Nonstop and DJ Rekha, After DJing for years in hip-hop and R&B contexts in 2014 they launched their "All Indian" Jaloos party and in 2015 performed at the Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration official after party.

MALINDER TOORAY
Malinder Tooray was born and raised in LA. She started playing dhol at the age of 15, self taught alongside her two brothers. Together they are Dholnation. Malinder has performed for many artists such as Sukshinder Shinda, Sukbhir, B21, Jassi Sidhu, Lehmber Hussainpuri and Bollywood dance groups such as Blue 13 and Karmagraphy. She recently played at World of Dance accompanied by Waacking Choreographer Kumari Suraj.
DJ ANJALI AND THE INCREDIBLE KID
DJ Anjali and The Incredible Kid have spent more than a decade igniting dance floors with cutting edge music not limited by borders or language. They host the longest-running Bhangra and Bollywood party on the West Coast, co-founded the Pacific Northwest’s first Global Bass dance party and host two weekly radio shows on XRAY.FM. Few DJs can be said to have changed the sound of their city but that is exactly what DJ Anjali and The Incredible Kid have accomplished since they first introduced Portland, Oregon nightclub audiences to the many varied sounds of Global Bass at a raucous New Year’s Eve debut in 2000. They are most known for incinerating dance floors with the heavy dance floor artillery of South Asia, but the duo scour the globe for any hard-hitting music that combines local music traditions with window-rattling production. Anjali and The Kid regularly perform at festivals including five sets at the Sasquatch! Music Festival tenth anniversary where they headlined the dance tent opening night. They have performed at festivals such as Decibel, MusicfestNW, Vancouver International Bhangra Celebration, Beloved, Photosynthesis, Fairytale, Kaleidoscope and the Vancouver Queer Film Festival. The duo travel to perform in cities such as New York City, Chicago, Washington DC, San Francisco and Vancouver, BC to headline parties such as Basement Bhangra, iBomba, Bhangrateque, Ottomania and Non Stop Bhangra.

Dam-Funk grew up in the Los Angeles city/suburb of Pasadena. A '70s baby, he came of age in the era of the Uncle Jamm's Army parties, of electro-pharaoh Egyptian Lover, of Prince's purple reign. His parents nurtured his musical talents as a child and by his teens, he mastered the drums, then the drum machine. A chance encounter led to an apprenticeship under funk songwriter/producer Leon Sylvers III (SOLAR Records) and by the mid-90s G-Funk era in hip-hop, Dam found his musical skills in high demand by rappers such as Mack 10 and MC Eiht. "Everybody was trying to do the live instrumentation thing, so then you got cats like me playing on records," Dam explains.
Sideman status wasn't enough though. Dam remembers "watching gold plaques hitting the wall" for everyone but him and he decided to go "full-funk" and make a do-or-die try to become an artist on his own terms. In 2006, Dam-Funk and a few friends launched the popular Funkmosphere party in L.A., bringing the boogie back. It's around then that Dam drew the attention of Stones Throw and both label and artist related to Dam's insistence that "funk is not just a Jheri Curl. There was more than that."
Dam's partnership with Stones Throw has now included everything from his 2009 LP Toeachizown, to an anthology of early productions, Adolescent Funk (2010), to 2013's Higher and 7 Days of Funk. Invite the Light isn't just Dam's first solo full-length since '09, he thinks of it as his first fully-realized effort – a "concise, beginning-to-end vision – that's resulted in a loosely autobiographical concept album inspired by the trials and tribulations of his personal and professional life of the last six years.
As always, Dam flexes his multi-instrumentalist talents by handling all the production but still makes time for guests including rapper Q-Tip, the father-son duo of Leon Sylvers III & IV, and funk giant Junie Morrison of the Ohio Players, who opens and closes the album with dire warnings of what could happen in a world without funk. Rest assured, Dam is here to make sure that never comes to pass. As he puts it, "funk is the underdog, the black sheep of black music," and if that's true, Dam-Funk is its shepherd.

Portland band Eyelids have a collective history creating music for some of the most legendary indie songwriters. Longtime friends and principle songwriters John Moen (Decemberists) and Chris Slusarenko (Guided by Voices, Boston Spaceships) channel their teenage Paisley Underground obsession and love of New Zealand / Flying Nun guitar buzz into a sound they describe as, “sweet melodies and bummer vibes.”
Immediately following sold-out pressings of three 7” and the 2014 full length 854, Eyelids will release a new self-titled EP on June 23 (Jealous Butcher / Schizophonic Records).
